I had it on my first and second Supra (the same exhaust) made by HKS and it lasted for (counting) 9 years until I sold the second one. Never rusted, never dulled, never got holes. The only holes were from dragging across speed bumps LoL but a quick trip to the metal shop and it was fixed in about 30 seconds... You won't need double-walled 304 unless you plan on dragging all over the place.

Brings up another point - please PLEASE let us know how fitment is. There is a downpipe (kinda like a header) that my friend has on a Supra and it bumps the passenger firewall and vibrates your feet when you gun it. LoL It is a 4'' pipe though, so kinda hard to fit.

What diameter runners and pipes will you be using?
like i said i dont know all the details, we will just have to wait and see how it goes. what's there to lose right?

Are they gonna be copies/knock-offs or from a fresh sheet of paper?

fresh sheet of paper, nowhere was it implied that copies/knock-offs were being produced. just another fresh off the paper design of 4-2-1 equal length headers.

I'm a probable buyer if the numbers and specs are compelling. I'm using (and happy with) Discovery automotive's software and I don't know how it would need to be modified to accomodate the new exhaust system. I have Supersprint race mufflers, otherwise, stock set-up. If the software needed to be modified and they charged a ton to re flash it, it might make the 20-30 addn'l BHP not worth the money. Also, anyone know about downpipe or other additional instalation costs? Hope i don't sound too ignorant, just want to know what additional costs might be involved for the modest HP gain we might expect from the header mod.

Thanks, Steve

downpipes are for turbos Sorry if I confused topics. Anyone chime in here, but I would venture to say that the software would need a tweak.

Hey that brings up an interesting point... while you're doing the header design, that would be a pretty good time to throw a turbo manifold together with a T4 flange ... build the motor and the possibilities are endless!!!!
