Umnitza ICE problems

Hi guys,

For the past couple of weeks I've been noticing both right and left side angel eyes/Predator ICE flickering on and off. Most of the time it is the driver's side and other times its the passenger side. I also get the "check side lights" warning on the dashboard.

I checked all the connections and they seemed fine.

what is the cause of this?

Could be a ballast. Easy to fix. Contact the seller for a diagnosis and replacement parts.
Regards,
Jerry

one time I had a wire loose in my lights (I had the angel eyes wired as my parking light) and I would get a check side light. What I noticed was when it said that...the angel eye was not even lightning up...

The two most probable causes are
1) The crimp connector provided with the kit may not make full contact as the OEM wire diameter is small and may not make full contact with the metal crimp connector. You can move the crimp connector and see if the light flickers. If so, you have found the problem.
2)As gsfent stated, the ballast can be the problem and just needs to be replaced. Contact the seller.

The "check side light" only means that the angel eyes are not on. The side light receives its light source from the Predator ICE or the OEM lighting element. There is no side light bulb. Once you solve the connection problem or the ballast problem, the "check side light" will go out.

I had the same problem and it was a bad ground caused by those lousy connectors. Take them off and solder the wires in.

HTH,

Michael

All the BMWs now sold. Now back in a Porsche. There is no substitute.
