275/40/18 anyone?

Anyone tried to run 275/40/18 in the back and has pics of what it looks like on the car? I want to run a tire with a slightly taller sidewall.

Any rubbing issues ?

Any DSC issues ?

Don't know, but I think the stock size is a pretty tight fit. And on my lowered car, I prefer 265's.

Do you think the taller sidewall will give a better ride? If that is the issue, I would check all your suspension components first and consider changing brands/ratings of tires before changing sizes. An all season will probably give a better ride than a high performance tire.
Regards,
Jerry

No it's not really about tthe ride. I just want a slightly different look to it. Also I guess the wheels would be less prone to bending but who knows. Can you post pics of your 265's?

the tire will be too tall, and prone to rubbing. also, If you are running staggered, you will have to make the fronts taller by the same amount to avoid DSC complications.
