Away M5 and hello M3!

I used to drive a 2002 E39 M5 with SuperSprint full exhaust. Then the day came last May when I had to get rid of it and go with the E46 M3. The E46 M3 is fantastic. I can't stop driving it.

Already since May I have installed the following mods:

Active Autowerke Stage 2 Supercharger
Agency Power Headers
Random High Flow Catalytic Converter
SuperSprint S Pipe
Agency Power Titanium Mufflers

The car is SWEET. I find any excuse I can to drive it too. My wife hates it, she thinks it's weird that I'm so in love with my car!

I have the following Mods coming up:

3.91 Differential
Dinan SMG transmission software upgrade for 3.91 diff.

I must say it was fun to be on the forum with such great members, but I'm not an active member on the M3forum.

Supposedly there's a BMFEAST October 4, 2008 in Flanders New Jersey. Would be great to see some of the M5 guys there!

Enjoy the new ride! I considered the M3 first, but I don't fit well in 3-Series cars. Actually...I don't fit that great in the M5 either! lolz

Congratulations, the M3 is a great drive Personally I prefer the effortless power and comfort/space of the M5, but I sure wouldn't mind an M3 as a second car if I had the money... TMcNasty, man, how tall are you, 7'? The M5 must be one of the "roomiest" cars I've driven when it comes to driver space.

Where about in philly you located? I would like to meet up and see your set up and possibly get a ride in your sc'd m3 some time if you wouldn't mind.

I was close to picking up an e46 m3 before the M5. It just made sense with the 4 door due to my 18 month old son...

I sold my M5 as well for an M3 but an E36 M3. It was due to high mileage and financial reasons. Now I'm in the market for an E30 M3 or E46 M3. Power is no biggy to me I just need an overall great car.

Love the e46 M3's and the mods are very reasonable with great results to boot...
