Most setups will drone in the 1,500 - 2,000 rpm range. Even stock drones a bit there. Delete the resonators and the drone in this range is considerably louder. If you can manage to stay away from that range as much as possible, then deleting the resonators might be of your liking.
I deleted mine just recently. I haven't noticed a drone at all. You may be right that I don't hear it because it's not in the "drone" rpm range for very long.
Delete the resonators...the UTE deserves it, and i am sure it'll be too tame for your taste if you keep the resonators...

good choice on the delete. now to convince you to dump the mufflers! just kidding. i think the uuc corsa exhaust with no resonator should not drone too bad
