So any idea what price he wants for these? Did he buy them hoping to make a killing? Or is he just wanting to make room for new acquisitions? Or is he selling now just cut his losses after seeing values of e39 M5s plummet? Even though "new" everything has been sitting for a while (tires could be stale, seals could be dried out) and there is no more warranty coverage (except maybe the '03) like you'd get with a truly new car where you could work out bugs on BMW's nickel. But if the price is right, these could be nice. Just be prepared to possibly have to fix things that might have been defective from the factory. If the cars had been driven 10k miles or so, they actually might be a better risk as any such defects would have been scoped out and repaired under warranty by now.

Future - F10 M5 with manual transmission?
"Is it the sounds that make a BMW a BMW? A BMW is designed to be heard, felt, experienced. So our engines sing. Our steering talks back. And we insist on offering manual transmissions in nearly all our models for drivers who crave them. The result is an almost telepathic oneness with the car. Just as surely as you can hear a BMW, a BMW hears you."
