could be a dirty brake problem or a wheel bearing also.
I'd clean all brake parts (including parking shoes) with a can of Brakekleen (or something like that) from Autozone.

If you hear no improvement at all it could be the wheel bearing.

try this

disengage hand brake and jack up rear left of car, remove rear wheel, brake caliper and brake disc/rotor. the rotors can be tough to take off because they often become rusted to the wheel hub. use a dead blow (rubber) hammer on multiple positions behind the rotor to knock it free.

once the rotor is removed you'll see the pads for the parking brake. look inside the rotor hat and see if there's a lot of wear in there from the pads rubbing.

try turning the hub by hand and listen for rattling / screech.

those few steps should reveal the culprit. when re-installing the rotor, apply some grease on the surfaces where the rotor and wheel hub meet to prevent it rusting together in the future (so next time you have to do this it comes off easily).

good luck
