favorite driving music?
Hey everybody, I was just wondering. What is everybody's favorite music to listen to while driving the M5? Mine would have to be listening to the sweet music of all 400 horses at work under the hood or Led Zepplin for "go fast tunes". As loud as possible.

I've got a CD of Mozart horn pieces in the changer. I find the Rondo Alla Turca works very well.
Right next to a couple Dance Hall Crashers CDs, Cale/Eno, and a CD of old Monochrome Set, 999, and Phil Manzanera I transcribed from vinyl.

1:sting's new cd (2 thumbs up)
2:depeche mode, violator
3:new madonna cd (not that good, but i like how she pulls of ghetto shiek in her video for 'musik', wow she's hot, and yet aged well.
4:some indian cd (my wife forced me, honest)
5:Old School house remix burned off my pc
6:The Smiths greatest hits compilation (that one stays in slot 6 permanent).

Currently in the trunk:
Chris Isaak - Baja Sessions
Oscar Peterson - We Get Requests
Portishead - Self-Titled
Beastie Boys - Hello Nasty
Matrix - Soundtrack
Metallica - ...And Justice For All
Quite a mix, huh?
Dependent upon weather, mood, time of day / sleepiness, road.

Although no M5, this is what I would have in my changer...
1) Ja Rule "Rule 3:26"
2) Eminem "The Marshall Mathers LP"
3) Pink Floyd "Dark Side of the moon"
4) Limp Bizkit "Chocolate Starfish"
5) Chumbawumba "Tubthumper"
6) ...and anything by Pear Jam... .
Yep... I'm about as varied as they come.
peace

Just about any trance/techno music. Right now though, my "pick of the week" is the Run Lola Run soundtrack. Then there is the GateCrasher series (Blue is a favorite).
Then there is always Coltrane's Giant Steps....

I listen to all types of music but when I'm in the mood to drive VERY fast, I put it on disc #6, Crystal Method - Vegas. I have driven VERY, VERY fast many times while listening to this cd. BTW, several tracks from this CD have been used in BMW and other car commercials.
Later,
