Anthracite wheel color?
I am contemplating painting my wheels, due to some wear on the factory finish, but I cannot decide if I should just go with as close as I can get to the factory color or if I should go with something new. I did a search but couldnt find anything. My M5 is Anthracite, what would go well with this? Thanks

I have the same color car as you and i wouldnt want the wheels anthracite. Gunmetal black without a question, but not with the blue tone of anthracite.

I agree, the anthracite wheel color would look too monotone with the rest of the car that color. Gunmetal black huh? So like a chrome black? I wish I could see a picture of that...

No, not chrome black. It would be very reflective. It would be nearly matte. Semi-glossy perhaps?

Do a picture google search for "gunmetal wheels" and you'll see what I mean, specifically these (I dont care much for the design but the finish is my point)

I went through this after buying my Sterling Gray car earlier this year. I had mine redone in a black chrome, and they look stunning. Check out:

i love the way they look! But do you think it will be to dark for the anthracite?...I wish I could see these on an anthracite. Anyone?

I think the factory Shadow Chrome is hard to beat with Anthracite or Sterling Grey. Just dark enough to have interest, but light enough to contrast with the gray color of the car. Just my opinion!
