03' Sterling Grey Stratford Auto

just got back from taking a look, and i saw nothing special. I was actually turned off, i went there expecting to be wowed but no. i looked at it a while back but the guy never called to tell me what he could give me for my merc. the car has CPO[i think it's CPO] until november of 08', but doesn't seem worth the extra 4k[i offered 38k a couple months back and 35k this time, but i was being generous w/ the extra 1000].

-engine bay is filthy, someone went off roading
-codes where cleared [they have an OBD II]
-pulled like S-[Word]
-the left tail light and left hand side of the trunk lid where off by like 1/6th-1/4 of an inch.
-personal note, the 00' RR from De Simone was easily 1000 times better.
-oh, and they wouldn't let it out for a PPI, they said have the guy go there. [not a single shop i know would send a guy out for a PPI, and this guy knows that]

It won't tell you if the codes have been reset.
However, he was assuming there would be codes since the car didnt' pull very well.

Take your time, you'll always get something better if you're not satisfied with the present one.

Not trying to say that it was, but a dirty engine bay like that usually means some type of water damage, were the lower door jambs and trunk bottom also dirty?

I've been looking lately and I saw this one too, looked decent. What did the VIN bring up? Salvage?

Wow!
An AWD M5 with storage under the floor.
It must be a drug dealers car.
