Knowing AJ / ESS and the work they do im sure the M5 community will be very happy when this kit is released.

This kit was originally going to be installed on my car for Bimmerfest.
Due to production problems they were unable and not willing to show what wasn't 100% ready to go. I know they have one on an M5 in Norway with over 60,000 mi. logged on with the S/C.

I wish it would have happened

Is passing a smog test a typical issue with S/C systems from ESS or other tuners?

Speaking for the tranny, I'm gonna say it'll handle the 500RWHP no problem. This assumes you do NOT shift quickly/aggressively and you make sure it's in gear before applying full power. The trannys fail when you partially miss a gear from trying to quick-shift the sluggish, stubborn Getrag OEM internal rail and fork system.
