Post OT: A car collection to die for...

I was at the local MB dealership today. On their used car lots, they have a E39 M5, a 996TT, a Z8 and a Bently Turbo R. They also have a couple of CL600, S600, E55 and CLK 55.

          Later,
          Kenneth

          Exclamation

A little window dressing never hurts sales. As most everyone knows, be very careful and suspicious buying (new and used) cars.

From my personal experience, Houston has some of the *best* auto-related businesses in the US. The German cars are known to "detail-out" exceptionally well. Where else can a 100K+ mile BMW or Mercedes or salvage job be turned into a 29,900 mile "pre-owned" car over-night, complete with odometer certificate? (ANSWER: New York, LA, San Francisco, Houston, New Orleans, ...)

Are you kidding? The asking price on the Z8 is 219k. It has 600 miles on it. They are asking 160k for the twin turbo Porsche. I forgot what they are asking for the M5. Most new "high demand" used cars with little mileage cost more than a new one. That's because you can buy one right away.

Yea Kenneth, I bought my m5 from Mercedes benz of houston-greenway, I'm good friends with one of the guys there Stanley Sowumni, he gave me a great deal. As a matter of fact I drove that z8 2 days ago. Stan told me that George Foreman was interested in buying it, it's crazy though, the dealership keeps those cars out even if its raining..However the mb-greenway is a 1st class dealership, if you are ever in the Houston area and looking for a car, check out their place...it's incredible
