Well, I just received my AIB V3.0 today and tried to install them, but just can't seem to get them in. I get the tabs on the iBrite lined up with the slots in the headlight housing and it will go in, but seems to bottom out against the inside of the housing before the tabs clear the slots, so I cannot turn and lock the iBrites into place. Is it really this hard to get them in? I notice that the "lens" on the front of the iBrite sticks out a bit, is this normal? Is it possible I have some defective units?

Alright, I was able to get them on after dremeling the edge of the tabs to make them a bit rounder, then using a pair of big-*** pliers to get more leverage. Heard something crack when I twisted them in place, but they are in and working. Not exactly "plug and play."

Had the same problem but pliers only worked for me and no dremel needed. I had no "cracking" noise either. The units are a bit scarred from the pliers though. I think the tolerance is just a bit too tight on these.
I still like them better than the "other guys product"

Uhh, guys. If it doesnt fit, don't force it. The problem is the rubber gaskets they use...they stick to the plastic and dont allow the AIBs to rotate. Some gummiphledge/303 aerospace treatment/UV2 and they slide in and lock with no trouble whatsoever.
Hmm, Wish I would have thought of the lubricant issue. I also used the pliers and was scared when I had to use some real force.....

In my case, I don't think it was the rubber o-ring. They went in easily enough, and I could rotate them slightly, but the tabs were hitting the edge of the socket when I tried to rotate them further.
