Read the valve cover gasket thread. I managed to clean mine since the cover was off.

Some people say yes, but it most likely depends on how many miles your car has, and how much oil it consumes.

Mine consumes no oil (MY2000, April) and it made a huge difference

Then again, I got new spark plugs and fuel filter along with having the throttle bodies cleaned out.

Did it make a difference? Perhaps. Need to dyno to make sure. Didn't really clean that much off the TB.

Very simple. Just removes the plemun cover. Remove the 12 (i think)chrome nuts with a 10mm socket.

You can either remove the v-stacks or leave them on. i left my on. Get TB cleaner and start the car. Put someone in the car to ensure it stays running by usung the gas pedal, while you spray the cleaner into each stack or each throttle body if you chose to remove the stack.

Very simple procedure

Make sure you get Throttle Body cleaner made for fuel injected motors.

Some Carb Cleaners can eat away at the coating most fuel injected throttle bodies have.

You WILL need a second person. Your MAFS will not detect any air flow (since the plenum cover is off) and your motor will shut off.
