Anyone in the Dallas area?
Just wondering if there are any regulars on this board from the DFW area? I've got a '00 M Coupe and while I've got quite a few perf. car friends around, none of them are BMW guys!
Drop me a line sometime.

Mr ShoeFly,
I'm in far West Plano. I've also got a buddy with a M Coupe in East Plano. Maybe we can all get together or meet at a BMW Car Club gathering. Happy Holidays!

when is that BMW meet? I think I saw it at Pappas BBQ one weekend, but don't know the scheduling. I live very close and would love to stop by one weekend. Gotta see that Sterling Grey XMan!

DFW Metroplex
There are several regulars from the DFW area: beanboy, livenup, Dallas Spikes, raland9, RobRowland, and me -- to name a few.
The BMW Club of Dallas meets at the Pappas BBQ at 35E and NW Highway at 3:00 PM on the 2nd Saturday of each month.

Very cool. A while back I met a guy at the Blue Planet Car (on preston) with a Black M5 who was going to the pappa's BBQ meet. He invited me, but at the time I was going down to Ennis for some races. He also mentioned that he had a Porsche as well...
Well If you guys decide to do anything else besides the Pappas meet let me know. Otherwise, I'll see you there!
Also, if any of you guys have a craving for more than one meeting. I am usually at a weekly meeting over in Las Colinas on Sat. nights starting around 9:30 till midnight. It's at the starbucks on 635 & MacArthur behind Cheddars off the service road. Usually there are always around 10 modified Supra's (all of them over 400rwhp, some over 600-800), a brand new Turbo Porsche, Vipers, modded rx7's (one with 600+rwhp), lots of converted 240sx's with Japanese Siliva Motor's and a few other goodies as well.
Lots of great guys there and they usually just sit around and shoot the sh*t, grab a bite to eat and go out and do the ocassional run. Great way to see some other highly modded cars. However, I am usually the ONLY BMW there.. Would LOVE to see more of you guys there as well! Lemme know..

I'm here! Sorry for the late reply, but lots of work lately including tomorrow!
Stephen, I haven't been to the Pappas yet because of work, but I plan on it soon. Welcome to the board!
I would also like to check out your Starbucks gathering, but my little 400 hp car won't be able to keep up with those moded Supras. Seriously, it sounds fun but I'm not into street racing per se since there is always a faster car out there (not to say I don't enjoy the occasional blast to let someone know this isn't your everyday 528!). Maybe we could try a BMW crash of the party?

BMW's on parade! What a beautiful sight. I'm in! Hopefully, I'll get a chance to meet you all at the next get together. I took delivery too late to make your last meet.

To tell ya the truth, I'm really not into the organized street racing either.. So if someone asks me to race, I'll kindly reply with a *no*. But it's still a hell of a lot of fun to see the cars.... I would LOVE to be able to pull up one week with about 15 BMW's behind me.. there hasn't been another one out there EVER.. and to tell the truth, I'd love to go for a ride in a M5! So if you guys are intersted in going this Sat. maybe we should organize something where we can meet before hand and all pull up together??? Let me know.
