Have you made any comparison and what was the result? The ECU adapts itselfs according to the Supersprint exhaust according to Supersprint, Kelleners Sport and Hartge.
I don't think there is enough adaptation. BMW runs rich, so you are leaned out some, but your AFR is probably below optimum. A dyno will tell you what your AFR is. My car definitely ran better after retuning the ECU by PC.

Jerry

nice vid,Gustav how does your m5 compare with a stock m5 in a straight line? can a stock m5 beat the stock csl m3 because csl seemed quicker v the rs4 than the stock e39 m5 v rs4.

It sure looked like the e39 had a definite jump at the start? It sounds as if the rolling start would have had the M3 at the top of first gear with the need to shift into 2nd almost immediately. Even a slight jump will drastically affect the outcome in my opinion? Gustav can you comment? The fact that the M3 caught up with it is impressive imo. Otherwise love the video! I'd have loved to have seen two or three runs.
True, we should have made more runs. No one got the jump but the M3 defiently lost on the 1-2 shift.
