chrome really sets the wheels off nicely, shows their true intricacy and beauty. Looks good on the car too. Would love to see it in the flesh to fully appreciate it.
Were your rims damaged and needed a respray, or you did it anyway?? Does the chrome finish wear any better that the shadow chrome painted finish?

My rims were pretty scraped up so I decided to just have them replaced. I went to LA Wheel & Tire (www.lawheel.com). They only use factory rims so you're buying what was someone elses core that they repair and then have chromed. You then leave your rims for them to repair and then sell to the next guy. If they're severly damaged or out of round there may be an additional core charge. A set of 4 chromed (mount, balalnce, locking lugs and chrome valve stems) was about as expensive at 1.5 new wheels from the dealer.

I can't comment on the wear since I've only had them a few days but the quality looks excellent so far. It looks like it came straight from the factory.
