Looks tasty. Can't wait to see that in the 911 turbo, gt2 ,and gt3. Porsche's response to the Nissan GT-R should be quite interesting. Thanks for posting Gustav.

Know this is not what a Porsche is about, but the fuel economy is extremely impressive! 10.3l/100km combined!!

So this is the ***** of the manual gearbox in the 911, huh? Not an option going forward.

This update is nice, but leaves a little bit to be desired. That steering wheel is hideous, and an interesting choice to put the paddles on the thumbs vs. on the finger tips. The engine changes are welcome, but with larger HP numbers coming out of Japan, MB, and BMW, they're going to come up with a new plan rather than squeezing more and more out of that flat-6 3.6/3.8.

I still feel they're grooming the Cayman mid-engine idea into becoming the new flagship. If they would give up a little bit of history with the rear-engine layout, and put out a mid-engine 8 cylinder offering, they could put out something extremely special.

Back to the gearbox for a second. Within 5-10 years, will we even see a true manual transmission sports car still available?

That is a very swee ride! George Bockelmann hosted his annual M5 meet this weekend at his home! I will post some pics of the attendees! Thank you Gustav for the DVD's from GTBoard.com! Also, sent you a request for Facebook!

We had a pretty decent turnout on Saturday! Next year, hopefully you can make it out here again in Great Falls, Va so that I can meet you in person!

Keep up the great work and I look forward to many years of great M5 and other car knowledge sharing through this excellent and very informative site! Truly great!
