AFTERMARKET WARRANTY

I'm looking at an '02 M5 and they are offering a "free" 24 month standard warranty thru http://www.eaglewarranty.com Anyone have a warranty thru these guys and have you had to do a claim/how was the process? Thanks.

Check the warranty and see what's covered and how much the deductable is. Some even cap the amount of repairs. All warranties are different and cover only certain parts and lots of exclusions. Warranties are ALWAYS a touchy topic.

Seems pretty light and sketchy to me. I'd say it is likely to be worthless. I especially like that they will pay labor of no more than $50 per hour! Their procedures are onerous and covered components are incredibly restrictive... reading it you just think 'screwed'

Wow, they only pay $50/hour? Where do they live? $50/hour isn't even 1/2 the hourly rate in the Bay Area, or most other areas in the US! But, I suppose it's better than nothing...maybe not by much though.
