<New Corsa Exhaust!>

Well gents I have finally bit the bullet, I decided to make the purchase on a new Corsa Exhaust from UUC. It will be here in a few days and then I will be mounting it up.

What a coincedence. I live 20 minutes from Corsa and have a great friend that works in sales there. I just bought a E39 M5 yesterday! Our other friend had put a Corsa exhaust on his C5 years ago, I really didnt care for the exhaust note on it. He then put one on his Viper and I didnt really care for that note either. Now I know most of the exhaust note is generated by the engine itself so it may sound great on an M5. Any particular reason for going with the Corsa?

On another note, Ive been through the factory where the exhaust are made. Wow, very impressive from beginning to end including the raw materials used to the techniques. I hope it sounds great. I'm assuming the Youtube video you posted is the exhaust on the car. I dont have a soundcard from where I'm replying from. I will check it out though.

I went with the Corsa Exhaust because I do not like interior resonance and from the video I posted there is none of that at cruising speed. I spoke with the Kats from UUC it was good conversation. I used to have a performance s-10 blazer with flowmaster 40 series and that was WAY too loud. Plus the sound being pretty close a 5.0 mustang, i like that rumble sound.

I love mine. I've had them on for a couple of months now, including a recent 3,200 km (~2,000 mile) trip. No resonance at all at highway speeds. Very quiet inside the cabin. At WOT it comes alive and has a great V8 sound.

I'm sure you're going to love the sound as well. It has a low rumble at low RPM's that is not instrusive at all. At WOT or higher RPMs, the exhaust note is wonderful, but not too loud, as befitting a classy german-made car. This ain't your younger brother's Mustang.

Enjoy.

If you're having them shipped, you'll no doubt be as impressed with the packing job as I was. I normally don't even notice packaging, but UUC does an excellent job of ensuring their mufflers are well protected.

After installation, don't be too concerned that the mufflers aren't very loud. Once "broken-in" after a couple of thousand miles they get a bit louder, throatier, and deeper.

Enjoy.

I know it has been a while since I have posted a comment. I installed the Corsa Exhaust and man it sounds tough. I am very happy with and I would recommend any person who does not want the interior noise while hearing the trough exhaust sound outside the car. Very Nice. I will be posting the sounds of the exhaust sometime today or tomorrow.
