This is going to sound stupid but I'll ask anyway. Those of you that have the x-pipes and tri-flo's; are there more or less pops when you back off the throttle with the x-pipe, than with just the mufflers? I love that sound.
I beleive that I maybe the only one brave enough to try this combo on this board Yes this combo is loud but it's music to my ears, people are constantly asking what type of exhaust I have and are always complimenting me on the sound. It burbles, blaps, rumbles, roars, screatches, screams you name it. This combo is not for everyone, although everyone that listens to it likes it. Everyone accept my neighbors!

The interior noise is loudest at cold start when the engine is cold. Most aftermarket exhaust are at their loudest during cold starts, after the air pump turns off it quiets down significantly. At cruising speeds it is not loud at all, just a very slight deep rumble no resonations, most of the music is heard during acceleration, and/or quick decellerations.

I put the tri-flo's on about two weeks ago, and I'm waiting for the x-pipes from bmp. I think it'll be exactly what I want.
I see the cars in your stable, and I think you will be pleasantly surprised!
Originally posted by steveB oak and rennen, i really like my b&bs also (especially after hearing a number of other aftermarket exhausts). either you like them or you don't.
i have heard the x pipe w/ supersprints and it's not much louder than stock. how much louder or how does it otherwise change the b&bs?
It's hard to quantify the sound with out actually hearing it. SS are really tame compared to the B&B's. The actual B&B's exhaust sound is still the same, it's just that with the x-pipes it add more music! If you like the B&B's then you'll most likely enjoy the X-pipes. I do!
