Well here is my new Ride..........

M5ers:

Well it is not an M5 but at least it is a V8

I need an X5 Avatar!!!!!

The X5 is better suited for hauling PC's around etc. If business keeps growing we will have another M5 in the future

Happy Holidays to all!!!

Glad to see your stable is still full of BMWs. At least you can drive that regardless of road conditions, ice etc.
Good Luck and hope the M5 is not too far off!

PS - Maybe an imola stripe down the middle would help restore some of the attention.

Congrats

You will love it. If you really want to raise your heartbeat, find some snow, turn off DSC and go for a spin. Talk about requiring driving skills

If you want to speed it up a bit, try the Dinan chip. It really made our car faster.

Good luck and enjoy.

David:

So the Dinan software DID make a difference? Cool. I will look into that soon.

Have a good one

Chris:

So far it ROCKS. Much better than the 97 M3 that I traded off. It is snappyier than my 98 540i was. I love it.

When we first got the X5, I wasn't too thrilled about it but I learned over the months how to appreciate it. The steptronic tranmission although not being an SMGII tranny still offers a racing "feel"of pushing and pulling the gear knob just like the Indycars do. You'll really appreciate it alot!

The engine in the M5 isn't based on the 4.4 V8 for
nothing
