HID Stage I & Stage II Group Buy!

Okay here is the deal everyone. Shane from bimmer.org and I are trying to start a group buy on Stage I and Stage II HID kits. We already have a group buy going on the Angel Headlights and Taillights, so I'm sure we will get a good deal on the HID kits. Everything is most likely going to be purchased through HID4LESS, but please do not contact them about the group buy, so things don't get to confusing. We have not finalized the $ yet, but it will be the cheapest anyone can find. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THE GROUP BUY (FOR HID KIT) PLEASE EMAIL ME A M5CLK430@HOTMAIL.COM. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THE GROUP BUY FOR (ANGEL HEADLIGHTS AND REAR) EMAIL SSAN586@ROADFLY.COM.
          thanks,
          Tan Nguyen

          2ND2N01-

Sorry if I sound uninformed, but is Stage II HID lights replacing the high-beams? Currently on my 00/M5 the highbeams are halogen.

If this group buy will get me HID for the highbeams count me in. Well depending on the price of course.

I will drop you an email.

The stage 2 xenon is simply a better bulb for the LOW beams. The high beam remains halogen.

The stage 2 system is just a bulb swap. The new bulb is a Phillips D2S bulb that burns at a bluer color.(6000k)

          Thanks Chris-

Is a blue-r blue color good? I kind-a remember reading that there is a diminished value to the real blue colored lights in terms of illuminating the roadway. I don't remember the specifics though.

BTW, what temp do the existing bulbs burn at?

          Good upgrade

          All,

I have the Stage II low beams as well as the Stage II fogs. The low beams are a great deal. When you replace one of the bulbs and look at them side by side, you wonder why you did not do this sooner.

The fogs are a little bit harder to justify, but great none the less.
I believe the low beams where $495 from HIDS4less. This is an easy change out, but you will need to remove the air filter boxes to get to the low beam bulbs.

          Go for it!

          Mark
