Corner of air bag cover keeps popping up!

The upper left corner of my air bag cover, on the passenger side of the car keeps popping up .

I have already had the cover replaced once under warranty but now it is starting to do it again. Has anyone else had this problem? Any advice would be appreciated.

Be careful about that. My dad's airbags exploded while he was driving on the freeway WITHOUT ANY IMPACT! He thought he got shot because of the loud bang, the smell of gunpowder, and the immense pain. He suffered from a concussion for months. (BMW replaced the car.) Be careful, it could be dangerous.

I have exactly the same problem--the upper left corner of the cover sticks up about 1/8". Just had it fixed under warranty last week, so it's OK for now. I'm disappointed to hear it may happen again ...

          thought it was just me...

happy this seems to be a known thing...sad that i might have the problem again.

exactly as posted, my passenger side airbag cover popped up a bit - same location, upper left corner. due to some shop work that had to be done, including testing airbags since none of my airbags deployed in an accident i was in, my cover got replaced,so now it's normal.

however, i'll keep an eye on it and see if it develops the same problem again. i do know for a fact that when i first took delivery of the car, i didn't have that corner popping up.
