From that shot, you can't tell that the hood has been tinted and you can still see the CF weave from another angle. Check out the "Vorsteiner hood" thread for closer pics of the hood.
Somehow I missed the close up pix of the hood. This is the treatment El Diablo's e6 hood should have had. I was never quite comfortable with the clear-coated cf against the jet black. The tinted look would be perfect.

Now I have a continuing hood dilemma: I have two CF hoods (painted e6 ultralightweight, and Vorsteiner vented prepped for paint (clear-coated vents). I wish I had the Vorsteiner vented NOT preppred for paint. I would go with the tinting and weave... that looks really hot.
