I had a pretty long conversation with Vorsteiner at the Mfest and told them all our wishes...actually they will start with the one piece front lip for the e39 (and the plan is to debut it at bimmerfest this year) and they will see how that will go and will proceed from the trunk, roof and doors ( if we get enough people interested)...I told them there are a couple of hard core guys who wants to push the envelope and would love to see more CF /lightweight stuff for their cars...
Cool! I definitely want to keep this alive. I just hope the cf trunk lid won't be incompatible with my alpina spoiler.. I really like the alpina look.
That is one of the reason i haven't pulled the trigger on the Alpina trunk spoiler ( I so love that spoiler)

Who's this? No offense but my business is the creation of Rett and I, our families only created us. And I definitely miss my Karmann Ghia, that's what started it all.
welcome to the darkside!
good to hear from you, bro. pardon me for the mix up on info; its been awhile. my bad. now all we have to do is find you a m5.
small world indeed. old shool in the house. dont forget:
Here's a pic snapped by Richard in NC with his uber photog skills. http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2033/...60e66560_o.jpg
From that shot, you can't tell that the hood has been tinted and you can still see the CF weave from another angle. Check out the "Vorsteiner hood" thread for closer pics of the hood.
Somehow I missed the close up pix of the hood. This is the treatment El Diablo's e6 hood should have had. I was never quite comfortable with the clear-coated cf against the jet black. The tinted look would be perfect.
Now I have a continuing hood dilemma: I have two CF hoods (painted e6 ultralightweight, and Vorsteiner vented prepped for paint (clear-coated vents). I wish I had the Vorsteiner vented NOT preppred for paint. I would go with the tinting and weave... that looks really hot.
I'll ask Stean if he has one...btw for people who have asked for the high resolution pics of LoLa i should have them soon...
