Post Bay Area S/W update

Gents, (and ladies of course) I have had a lot of requests to, ahem, "sample" the next generation nav software that you've all heard so much about

I plan to lunch at "the Little Store" in Woodside on Wednesday 12/5 for any of you who would like to show up, I will bring along my "favorite cd's" so you guys can check them out. I will only be able to hang out for about 2 hours maximum: 11:30 to 1:30 or so if any of you would care to join in the food and fun, etc. Go ahead and post if you can make it.

Thanks,

-Alex

would it be possible to make available an .iso image?

unfortunately, i'm unable to make the meeting tomorrow, but would like to see if the new software loads/runs on a mk II / early my2000 car.

figure the whole thing is ~600mb, so i assume it's too large for most hosting sites?

thanks.

I'm looking forward to the lunch...since I rarely seem to be able to make them. But I already upgraded my Nav...couldn't wait...thanks anyway Alex.

Go 4 it Guys!

I had it done last weekend at D. Zeckhausen's clinic. The entire "ahem" procedure took < 5 minutes. I'm very happy with the result despite the fact that the new system does not display the radio station / with the OBC data on the same screen. Having to click OK for the legal disclaimer everytime you start the car is also a PITA.

These are minor gripes mind you.

The installation...

New screen, fonts, better services menu

Check out the bottom of the screen. The estimated arrival time & mileage are constantly on the split screen.
