Black OEM Wheels on Sterling Gray
I recently had 4 rears powdercoated black (50% gloss -- sort of a satin finish)
I have been looking for pictures of black rims WITHOUT chrome/polished lip on a Sterling Gray E39M5... never found them, so I decided to take the plunge...
I like them and the pics below are the best I could do in flat Seattle light with a point and shoot...
Anyway -- just wanted to post pics of ALL BLACK rims on a Sterling Gray car in case anyone else is looking for some pictures like I was.
I think the car needs some tint and a black grill... and the all black highlights the need for the car to be slightly lowered... IMHO...
Oh and BTW -- the little m stickers that go on the rims... local dealer wants $7.15 each... so I am protesting... what a rip...

Looks like they did a good job.
I wouldve liked to see what it would look like with only the wishbone parts in black and the rest in the factory smoked chrome. I was thinking that this combination might look good when I repaint the car in charcoal gray metallic.

Wow, amazing. Car looks good PJS. Wheels look even better. love the color combo. I'm a big fan of dark wheels w/ no shiny lip

Also, you're gonna be amazed at how the car's gonna change when you tint the windows. Everything's gonna come together

I'll help you out when I get home. Just try to find me some pictures of your car from an angle similar to that of the pictures in this thread.
