I just sent you an email about the Transportation Company Blue Highways that I used last month. I would highly recommend them over DAS, and many others. Blue Highways compare to Intercity and Horseless Carriage, so they are not the cheapest but you get what you pay for when you transport your car, something I have done at least a half dozen times.

I'm surprised by how many carriers don't do FL to WA routes. Its not like Seattle and Miami are the two smallest cities around. Anyhow, I should have all my answers by Monday. Maybe they'll swing through Baton Rouge on the way home and RicciHull can see my new car before I do.

The ride got loaded onto the transporter a few hours ago. $1390 from a broker from FL to WA, enclosed, door to door. $1255 to the actual hauler. I'd just skip the middle man and contact him directly for the next round, or any member who wanted something hauled on that route. We'll see how he does, but with enclosed, I can't imagine there could be that many problems, outside of timeframe issues. Car is schedule to arrive here on 2/15. Can't wait! It's a nearly impossible task to turn my garage from one car to two, but I've been unloading stuff from in there like you wouldn't believe.

Flyin-M5: Found a killer deal yet?

Imola Red Sled

This has my interest, but life began in California then to Minnesota and is now in Florida. Was a CPO until 01/17/08. Dinan has no record of the S2 install and the free carfax isn't working. .......and it makes me wonder? It is the color combo of choice though.

Anyone in Miami wana check it out for me?

Thats from the same place I bought mine from. It looks pretty sick. I paid 27 on something he was asking 30 for, so you might be able to do pretty well on that. I just was outta budget. No question that I'd consider this beast.

My carfax account is still open and I ran the carfax for you (attached). I'm at this horrible fire department computer tonight that has no .pdf writer. So its in Microsofts Document Imagining format and zipped so I can attach it.

Demoise Trking is fantastic. Rest assured that even 997 GT2s are on the low end of the scale that they transport. CGTs, 430s, etc,etc Family owned, all their own trucks and own drivers. If you call you'll likely get Bill Demoise on the phone- one of the brothers that owns and runs the company. I've never read a bad thing about them- and my experience was perfect. (They hang 3 mil plastic under the cars that are up high so there is no way they can drip stuff onto the cars underneath... that kind of attention to detail.)
