Can't wait to see what you come up with. Do you have any thoughts as what design elements you'll use to modernize the E39? E60 lower facia? E92 or CS concept headlights?

I really have no idea. I'm just going to play around with it and see what happens.

I am looking for the factory bmw photos preferably, but if you have good clean photos, with little background noise, please email to jarupert909@roadrunner.com

Thanks

Yeah the iDrive sucks, however having such a complicated and technologically advanced vehicle is meant to target specific demographics. Lets face it, if you are paying $100k+ for a 4dr car, technological buttons and gadgets are to be expected not only from the manufacturer, but the customer themself.
I am not sure the idea is bad, it is the execution. If everything worked well and consistently and interfaced intuitively, there would be a lot less complaining. Here is one place I think the Germans can learn a lot from the Japanese.
Regards,
Jerry

+1 on everything Jerry said.

1) Maybe sometime in the future, I will learn to like the E60 M5 bodystyle. Like other people said "it is starting to grow into me".

The E39 M5, I didnt have to learn to like it. First time I saw it - wow! Gotta have one.

2) Germans learning from Japanese: I work with both Germans and Japanese here at Boeing. They are one of our many suppliers.

Yes, you cannot beat Japanese for simplicity, durability and reliability.
