I dont know if I'd qualify it as a faker, though. None of the characteristics that separate the M5 from the regular 5-series is evident there. Different bumpers, different wheels, etc.
I wouldnt be caught dead driving in that, though. RICE

Identity crisis? Let me count the ways...
1. Using the eyelids on the E39 to make it look like an E46.
2. Using the E60 M5 wheels on the E39.
3. Using the E60 M5 fender vents on the E39. (what is he venting from there?)
4. M5 badging on the rear.
5. Attaching the little shark-fin antenna on a vehicle not equipped.
6. Absolutely horrid taillamps.
7. Horrendous body kit and rear windscreen spoiler.
How the car would have been better:
1. Leave the real model designation, or shave model designation... but don't put an M badge on it.
2. The wheels look fine, but a more conservative body kit would have been preferred. And ditch the windscreen spoiler.
3. Ditch the clear tails and put the regular Celis tails or the smoked Celis tails on.
4. No side vents.
5. No eyelids.
6. Don't really care either way about the sharkfin.

Not to sound overly harsh cause I think people should do what they want with their time and money, but...
The world takes all types and sometimes I think it shouldn't.

I don't care for the car in any way, but how can we call someone a faker who openly admits to only trying to mimick a real M5? To me, a faker is someone who tries to pass off something that appears to be something it is not. No?
