[OT] Thinking about Z-3 as second car; Best Used Car Sites?

I've been running up a ton of miles in my M5 and have been thinking about a second, used car to commute with a few days a week to share the load. Specifically, I was thinking maybe something a lot different from the M-5, but it has to be very affordable, like around $25k? So, I was thinking maybe a used 6 cyl. Z-3? What do you think, guys? What else should I consider? Miata? What are the best used car web sites to find one, whatever it is?

Z3- nice!

For miata - i don't think so , it's really underpowered even if it has good handling , and it's really small inside , even smaller than it seems...

As for sites i don't know many , but:

www.driversseat.com
www.usedcars.com
www.edmunds.com

there are lots of sites... just type in whatever you think will be a good name for car-selling page and you're there

You may want to look into a used M coupe. After looking at them for awhile, I found that they depreciate fast and you could probably grab one around your price frame in today's econonomy. Definatley a different animal then the M5. Good luck.

As I suggested before consider a Mini Cooper (~$18K) or Mini Cooper S (~$21K).

Z3's are pretty cool!

For Z3's: www.autotrader.com

For M roadsters or M coupes: www.m-series.com

Miatas are cool, but underpowered. Perhaps a used Audi TT, but the price might be high. A Toyota MR2 might satisify you, but again the price might be too much.

M Coupe!

In a recent thread, someone mentioned that used M Coupes (25k miles) are selling for about $25k. That would be a great 2nd car if space wasn't a problem.

Nice cars Tim! Is that Highlands Ranch? Wow, that place has grown by leaps and bounds. I remember when the Polo Reserve was nothing but a field. Geez...those were the days...
