        voice control system

Please could anybody let me know if the voice control system is now standard spec. on the M5 2001 model. Apart from working with the GSM phone in the car does this control other features as well.

I don't know if it is std on 01MY, I have it on my E39 and find it useful. It allows me to drive the phone and sat/nav systems. eg Dial name and speak the name, say map and the map apprears, adjust scale, petrol stations at current location etc. Had to ask dealer for the manual supplement !
