It's basically the same story as my encounter with a 993 a month ago, except throw in an extra football field.
I managed to stay with him through the tight bends (the pace was "quick," not racing) which precede my favorite straight, and then I made no qualms about it; I loped by him steadily then just jammed it into 3rd and mashed it. Eased off right at the top of 4th...hee hee...
Much to his credit:
- He gave up REAL soon (and the boost gauge I spotted on his pillar had made me nervous)
- His car handled on rails through the twisties (aftermarket suspension and aggressive camber).
