ANYONE WITH FUMOTO VALVE
I just bought a fumoto valve with an adaptor. Just want to know if anyone has it on their M5? Very simple to install but my concern is reliability/leakage?

Never tried one, I just use latex gloves when I change my oil.

Dont run over anything, since this will probably be the lowest point under your car. Drive over a 5" manhole cover ona a torn up street and there goes all your oil.

Not really but the last guy that changed my oil stripped the thread on pan. Hence, new lower oil pan. Just trying to avoid it.

Easy to avoid. Dont use a giant wrench, thread the plug with your fingers before tightening, and remember the plug doesnt need to be 300ft-lbs and you shouldnt have any problems.

Sounds like maybe he doesn't change his own oil so trying to avoid problems with a less than proficient service technician...

Doesn't take a brain surgeon to change oil, yet a BMW dealer stripped mine!
