i think there is a 525 w/ mtech on bimmerfest that has them.
found a set of GTII on a LMB, but it didnt look right... wheel was very small and it was two tone...

I just saw a white E-39 at the SD Autoshow that had gold rims...and I thought (as did the people with me) they looked horrible on the car. However...I think they *could* look good on a LMB or maybe Chiaretto REd.
which wheel was it? do you have photos?

Gold, star-shaped Speedline wheels were the hallmark of earlier era Ferraris. Basket-weave lace wheels, often in gold, were common on first generation 3 series BMWs. I rather liked the look, especially on Ferraris, but only on certain color cars. They went well with red and black cars. I think they'd color clash on a silver car.

Yep. The wheels I saw were seriously bling, unlike the OP's. So, in answer to the original question: I like the wheels, and they'd probably look great on a JB. Personally, I'd rather see someone else spend the $ to verify that though.

I like it (the last pic with the gold centers and brushed lip) and opt for the red center caps:cheers:

I hear ya on that one....

Perhaps its the additional doors that make it not so appealing or maybe, not as sexy. Not that 4 doors is bad :D

nah, it shares a similar spoke pattern with the bbs rxII however it has stepped lip instead of a soft lip... a friend of mine told me they were centerline/dynatech. but cant find anything under those items...

Personally, I REALLY like (so much so that, if I had wheel $ to blow, I'd get them)the one BBS here (BIG pic, no gold, RX 513?). I *think* I was just looking at these at AGA yesterday, but they had a BMW center hub. Either way, very nice. MUch nicer, IMHO, than the 5-spoke thing in your next post.

Option 2 (first pic) is nice...if you can get them ( these are very limited )...last pick is ugly ( sorry jmho) unless you get the Original Hamman PG series...
