I had the same problem and I bought a silicone base spray from 3M and now the creaks are gone...and sometimes you might think it's the doors creaking but in reality it's just worn out bushings...

My car squeaks, rattles and other very annoying noises. The door squeaks are partly due to the M plastic strip at the base of the door opening. The rattle is from the dash. All very, very annoying.
I have the same problem and solved it using Tino's(Cosioboy) solution by using one side of the velcro and sticking it to the rubber part where it contacts the door. So far so good, had it on the car for at least 6mos. now.

Eugene whats up buddy??
any more info on that "velcro method"
Here is a link to the thread you want. Note that the gummifledge stuff is worthless. What you need is the Carboflo product, specifically Carbaflo KSP105. You can get it at your local BMW dealer. BMW P/N: 83 23 0 309 627. It will actually solve the creaking door seals once you clean everything fully and then lube them with it. Some creaking will come back within a few months most likely, but then you can treat them again. Note this is a problem on the E60 also, and there is a teflon tape solution available also (see the referenced thread above).

my biggest gripe, or complaint... (which really isnt that big, considering what else could be wrong) is if i do not have the radio on, or if it is very low... it sounds like the rear strut tops knock on every bump... its not loud, or very noticeable, i just am very anal i think... bc noone else hears it until i point it out to them... anyone else have this issue or should i be taking crazy pills???
Check the seat belt tensioners. It's a pretty common problem along w/the rear shelf. I need to get mine looked @ too. It does get annoying after awhile.
