Improved Thread Titles Please!
Hey guys don't take offense to this, but we sure could use better thread titles on this board. Vague titles like those listed below are less likely to get you any help. Give us some insight as to what you are looking for or what you have to share would be cool. Throwing in a noun would really be useful.
"I think I am seeing things"
"Will I do any damage?"
"How long will it last?"
"Some Advice Please"
"Should I be worried?"

Gustav, I don't expect the moderators to change titles. The posters should be held accountable.
How hard is it to have a title that gives an indication of the thread content? Not hard...
You guys do a great job already. Let the Board members figure out that bad titles get little views.. Happy Christmas...
Peer pressure is the answer.

Sheesh, you guys are tough! Did you ever think that maybe by leaving the thread title vague that someone might click on it and read? Sometimes I skip over threads when I read the title and get a good idea of what its all about.
I think this is a great forum with intelligent and knowledgeable people offering honest advice. Lets not nit pick about the smallest mundane detail shall we? Believe me, it could be worse...

The title is not the smallest mundane nit pick detail. It is the introduction to your thread and should reference your subject matter. When I see a title that is fishing for a look I skip over the thread.

On a side note to your side note; you're on!
I need to try a tune-up myself and then locate a small vacuum leak.

I'm torn on this issue. On one hand, a descriptive thread title is nice. But on the other, I often use a thread title to grab attention and lead into my post with some sort of wit.
