I believe 11.6-11.5 was very possible also the car had 3/4 tank of gas and the dealer overfill his oil by a quart and a half, I think that took some hp away, on the bright side the weather was good and nothing broke,
we drove the car back almost 2 hours with 3 people and full of gear and it was like nothing happened, no check engines no overheating actually the car performed and felt much better after we left the track(italian tune-up)

Ray did send me a PM about the get together but I have too many things on my plate at the moment, otherwise i would have been there.

Robert,
the track could be better, very hard to get traction on the left lane, but we still managed a respectable time, when are you bringing your beast out??

I should have some videos by tomorrow

It's usually known for excellent traction, but it sounds like the lane they were using was a bit slick.

Nice showing for the S3 and nice to see it is running closer to spec than last time!

Actually both lanes were tough for street tires. The soaking rain that hit the day before ruined the launching area. If you were on drag radials, you were OK. But the street tired cars like mine and Ray's suffered. It was not the usual Atco surface. They are tearing up the track after Sunday. So our spring rental should be something else.

Yup. His best was a 12.115 @ 117.36 on a 1.89 60' time. He was running 12.1's at 117 pretty consistently. The sound of that car is something else. I was very happy to have him at the rental. We had a nice turnout of impressive cars.

It is the fastest track in the USA. It's only 33 feet above sea level at the traps and 90 feet above sea level at the start.

An Audi S4 can run 11 flat there with aftermarket chip and muffler. Stock Corvettes are now runing 10's there.
