        help - can't adjust volume on nav system voice prompts

        my 2002 beast with the 2001 nav disc- when you go to the menu to adjust the volume of the voice prompts, the bar on the screen moves, but the volume level stays the same. has anyone else had this problem? any ideas? thanks in advance.
