When will production phase out for OE E39 M5 parts/accessories?

I'm planning on keeping mine for as long as it runs, and just ordered new OE mats for future use. Anyone have an educated guess on how long I'll be able to buy the OE chrome shadow wheels? How about OE parts (i.e. water pumps, hoses, trim pieces, etc.)?

OEM's are required to make parts available for a vehicle for 10 years after it's final production date.

How they do this (whether producing them up front or in small batches later) has a huge effect on cost, but the long and short of it is that parts will be available for 10 years at some price...

I have no trouble getting parts for my 89 BMW; my 84 Porsche; and my 64 Porsche. I have no worries about finding parts for my M5 for years to come.

Guessing how many service parts you need for a given vehicle is far from a science - typically manufacturers have parts well past 10 years, they just aren't required to...
