Peake tool help

i got the chrismtas lights on my cluster and i cant keep taking it to the dealer to find out what sensor is gone bad again. so I want to purchase a peake tool but don't know what brand/type I shuld buy and from where, any suggestions??

It depends on the year of your car, for it will determine what kind of plug you'll need. Mine is a 2000 and has a port under the hood and under the steeringwheel to the left, but it is recommended that I plug it in the engine bay to take full benefits of it. Not sure what i'd be missing....though.

Oh, and it's under the hood right below the windshield washer fluid (I have a US spec M5).

The difference between FCX-II and FCX-II-16 is the connector on the end, and nothing else.

If you have the parallelogram connection under your dash then you can use a II-16. If you don't, then you need the II.

The peake website says that if you have both,you should get the one with the b connector (FXC-II).

As a matter of fact, I got mine in the mail today. I already reset everything and now am waiting for the SES light to go off again so that I can figure out what's wrong with the car.....if anything.
