MKIII nav cd

I have the mkIII cd based nav, with the latest firmware, and I am looking for some new maps. Navtec shows 2007.2 as the latest version, full cd set is $199. Is this the only/best place to buy these? Thanks to the board for write ups on upgrading firmware!

Since I bought my car from the NJ area and live in NC... I might have one for you. Will need to check the version/year.

Was also wondering where the best place is to get an updated CD for the Southeastern U.S. area.

They are periodically listed individually on Ebay and in the For Sale section - that is generally the best place to check.

Several times a year someone buys a set for the 1 region they need and then sells the rest...

Have you ran into any problems with this download? I hear so many horror stories about these downloads screwing peoples nav systems up. Thanks for the link though! I might just give it a shot

If you used that link then you already have the latest MK3 software - they stopped updating it at V22.

I used it with no issues - it updated just fine.

The issue most people have is not burning the CD correctly and the update failing - it doesn't do anything to the Nav system, it just doesn't update.

The most useful link on that page is the custom one if you have a MK4 since it also updates the English text to be much more user friendly.
