M5 will do!

BMW Individual is the programme that allows you to spec the car in special colours both inside and out, plus bits and pieces like different trim panels. All at extra cost of course. Not available in the USA, in the UK costs about $6000 for paint and leather in a weird colour.

Cheers,
David.

Interesting color...I always wanted to see what the M5 would look like in Pearl White?

Mmm... that car looks like a cross between Orinocco Green and Sepia - certainly unique!

If you guys have ever seen the Mystichrome limited color option available on a few '03+ Mustang Cobra's that is exactly what this color looks like, but also about twice the price I think. The paint application process is better I'm sure

That color reminds me of when the Big Body Impala's came out with the Mystique color. Chevy had them on a number of cars...It was a fad for a while but seriously got played out.

It's pretty cool but not to my liking.

Scarab green

This colour may not have been available in the USA, but it was in Canada. I just got my '03 Scarab Green about a month ago. The original owner purchased the car in March '04 in Edmonton, Alberta. It has a black interior and a April '03 build date.

The colour is very interesting. In overcast or flourescent light it looks deep green. In the bright sunshine it looks deep purple/maroon, exactly like the pictures show in an earlier post. In low lighting, it appears dark grey/black. I'm sure that the colour got it's name from the Scarab Beetle, which, depending on the light can look green, purple, grey, or black. My wife and I have a little game going on. It's called "What colour is the M5 today? :biggrinbounce:

I took the accompanying picture to show the type 66 wheels that I purchased from another board member. The sun did catch a bit of the car, so the purple shows there. Otherwise, the colour is green.

I love the colour. Perhaps now even more so knowing that it is rare in North America.

Any other Scarab Green cars out there?

Regards,
Alex

This site has a list of non Individual colors http://www.bmwmregistry.com/model_faq.php?id=18

But while we are on the topic of unique M5s, I have seen a few examples that have FULL leather, with sunshade, esp in Canada, this one on ebay has it and also ACTIVE seats very rare. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-...itemZ290195517081QQihZ019QQcategoryZ133182QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Now I have a Question, has anyone seen Silverstone with caramel, I used to hate Caramel, mainly because I had never seen it in real life, just in pictures
that are washed out, I have seen a few pics where it seems dark and rich and love it now, is that how it really looks, post a caramel interior how it looks in real if you want.
