Need help - Persistent MAF error code

Hey all, I'm having some trouble with a recurring MAF malfunction on the passenger side (cylinders 5-8) that I can't seem to get resolved.

I've changed out 2 MAFs on that side, and even swapped them L to R (driver to passenger), and am still getting the SES light and error code (#39 on Peake tool).

Took the car to my Indy shop and they analyzed both MAFs (brand new) which are working fine, checked the resistance in the connectors and wires, and haven't been able to determine what's going on.

I'm not sure what the next step should be as I've already gone through 2 sets of MAFs and am still getting the error.

Anyone else experience anything like this?

        Thoughts? ideas? Suggestions?

        Thanks,
