...sorry to hear.
...back in the day the boys would go so far as to pass me, run ahead a mile, turn on the lights and do a 180 pass me in the other direction. ...then, thinkin I'd take the bait believing the road ahead was now clear, another Smokey would be hidin in the weeds down the road.
...nope, but almost.

 That's elaborate!
Here in Chi-town there are some municipalities that are taking to laser traps by cops in disguise. They disguise themselves as maintenance workers (sitting on a riding mower for example), construction workers, etc. When they paint you, another guy down the road pulls you. Arlington Heights road is one trap zone that I know of.

...Arlington heights, sounds familiar - I lived in Elgin eons ago...
...funny when I visit the USA, lots of cops. Rare to see them here, instead cameras at dangerous intersections, and rarely some mobile cameras in towns to keep the speeds down, make some euros...

Yup... here's the plate. A bit larger than life, like the car. I kept the San Diego BMW frame.. a touch of bling and a nod to her history (Noe, D/A's engine builder, also works at SD BMW, and this is where I first viewed the car last year). I tried to get Adbulla to send me his Bahrain plates for my garage, but I think he pitched 'em..

Dunno about the height, but yeah deep pockets is right.. The car is a money pit... you just wanna keep pouring more and more into it...she's like a high maintenance femme fatale... she electrifies your loins and evokes this compulsive urge to spend like a drunken sailor...

When I was in Nice and Italy this summer, I felt a great feeling of driving freedom... seemed like the cops really were not terribly interested in petty traffic enforcement. Here, they seem obsessive-compulsive, both in regulation and enforcement..

Whoa! Sorry about the ticket.
 Arlington Heights road????
Hmmm... I have to be more careful. I wonder if that is why the started all that construction on Lake-Cook. Sounds like it could have been more of an elaborate speed trap.
