Illuminated Door Sills

Ok everyone. This is an old post that myself and a few others are still trying to get going. I believe this is our last opportunity to make good on what should have been a for sure thing. This thread is in the GROUP BUY section so most of you may not even be familiar with it. Especially the new owners.

Here is a link to a post that has the pictures of what I am referring to. Illuminated Door Sills

Quick rundown on the situation. Ryan presented a group buy on front illuminated door sills (pictures in link above). Had 20+ sign up for it. Ryan produced them, had them tested and installed by a test member. He never reached the 10 minimum needed to recover cost, let alone profit. So, because of the fall out, rears were never produced to compliment the front.

Now, he is actually willing to do the rear under ONE circumstance. We reach the 10 min needed but PREPAID this time.

We have 3 prepaid. I know I will prepay if we can reach that point of production. If you have not purchased the front because the lack of rears. Now is the time to jump in and purchase a Complete set front and rear. The only difference is that it has to be PREPAID. I don't think that 6 sets or if you purchased the front 6 rears are out of reach.

If you are interested, please, please speak now or forever hold your peace. Because I believe this will be the last chance not only for the rears but for the fronts as well.

Thanks!!

---Joe

Is it possible for those of us who do not own an M5 that you would be able to use just regular door sills that have the "M" logo. This is a piece that is straight out of the BMW Accessories and Aftermarket products catalog. I am not sure of the part number at the moment, but the door sills in question are the ones that were used on the 2003 540i with M-Sport Package, instead of just Sport Package that had been offered previous rears. I too, would also be interested in fronts as well as years. Would be concerned with the installation process and the price. If all was appealing, then I can be sold on a set of illuminated door sills. Something that BMW should have done anyway...
