Don't know about auto dimming (I "think" they do), but they are BMW Euro mirrors ... they can be ordered through BMW dealers.

so finally one (1) of the mirrors came in i was able to install it over the weekend, fairly simple job... however i wanted to let ppl know theres a locking mechanism on the mirror itself. do not pry the mirror off, or you will brack the cradle it attaches to. please see attachment:

you have all the features of the stock domestic mirror... however now you eliminate the blind spot area... with this convex style lens (aspherical) youre able to see more of the road behind you.

as soon as i receive the passenger mirror, i will take photos of it on the road to show you before/after.

More clarity as it does not have the slightly green tint on them and biggest benefit is that the blind spot is at the very minumum if not eliminated.

No need for any of those ugly stick-ons to eliminate the blind spot.

I have the Euro aspherical mirrors on the X5 as well and really helps with blind spot elimination.
