removing Trafficmaster switch panel

I need to take out the Trafficmaster panel (above the gear lever tray) & don't want to start yanking without some direction. I know the cupholders when fitted have a couple of retaining screws, but how is the Trafficmaster retained?
Cheers

Here is a poor pic of the whole TrafficMaster kit.

The long switch panel goes where the front cupholders could be. There doesn't seem to be any retaining screw, but also it is not easily possible to hook something behind the trim to pull it - the only option seems to be to yank on the knob shaft (& my mum said never to do that ;-).

Sorted.
I'll take a pic of the switch panel rear for anyone else.

stevied, The long switch panel, is that one one for heated seats, sport, dcs/dsc button? I don't remember any "knob". Also are you putting it in or taking it out?

Hi Allsmiles. The panel is below the seats etc panel. I think it is a UK/euro option. I am removing to fit cupholders instead, as I have the TMC upgrade on the satnav, and it redundant.

If you want to fit cupholders you will find all the part numbers and fitting instructions in my illustrated guide here:

The complete guide to replacing your cupholders (lots of pics!)

Hope this helps

Provides a 'live' feed to the Satnav of traffic conditions, hazards etc so that you can reroute if neccessary. It is subscription service over the mobile network & uses roadside monitoring stations.
Not used before, & the TMC is free data stream over the FM radio network. Not brill, but slightly better then nothing.

IF the satnav knew the roadspeeds, it could recalculate delays & reroute automatically. THAT would be worth having.

Thanks Ashok.
The only thing I would add is DON'T buy on ebay - people seem to pay virtually dealer prices PLUS postage!!
