I think this is grounds for divorce
It is more like grounds for a trip to your BMW dealer unless you already own a decent third vehicle. You really didn't know what would happen when someone goes from a BMW 7-series to a Ford Ranger? I agree, you drive the truck for a while and then you will come to your senses.

My wife refuses to drive my M5. On the other hand, she drives the minivan and has told me that when the time comes, she will pick HER car (we both hate the minivan). I think she wants a Prius to offset my CO2 footprint.
My 2 cents: torch the Ranger, get her what she wants. It just makes life easier for you. GLF - I can't explain that one in a public forum. You can e-mail me for the explanation. Good luck.

This is a simple process...

Put up a picture of your wife and I'll tell you if she should drive the Ranger or the BMW...lol

Example:

BMW

Ranger

By the way, If your wife looks at all better than the above Ranger example, you prolly have to buy another BMW...

Paypalbid hit the nail on the head. Do you want to be happy (wife too of course) or be "miserable" ( and get the butt treatment for 6 month or longer in bed). Not worth it because I've been there. Get her what she wants....

What she really wants is a Mini

I cant bomb the Ranger cos I need it to lug my dirt bikes around.

That means a 3rd car in the family, which could well displace my ZX-14
(so I'm a selfish git)

Fortunately the twins are just 2 and will never be able to strap themselves into their baby chairs in the back of a Mini. So until they are able to do so, a Mini is simply not practical. I can delay this purchase by at least another year. gotta love kids

Except, until then I can see myself relegated to the Ranger for the majority of the time

Nice bike. Keep working the options. As I see it, you have 2 toys and she as zippo/0. You'll have a blast w/twins in a year or two and it only gets better. Ours is turning 10 next month so enjoy them before they turn to teenagers. Cheers,

1) FORD = Found On Road Dead
2) FORD = F*cK*d Over Rebuild Dodge

Your lucky your wife has not done anything worse to you for selling her BMW...

My wife got a 523 after I bought a 525...then I sold mine to get the M5 and My wife wants some M car to match up with me...but she has a BMW eitherway until we find the right ladies M car. I was thinking a Z M Coupe, it's like a Station wagon only cool!
