Why is my car shaking?

I just finished up installing a new set of Vines HD thrust arms today on my M5. It got rid of the noises I was hearing at low speeds and greatly helped with the shaking I was experienceing at 50-55mph, but I still get a very slight shaking at those speeds. It has not been a long time since I have had my tires balanced, but it has been a bit longer sinceI have had an allignment. Would either of these be the next logical step to take or should I have gotten the 6 piece front end kit?

I'm no expert, but a slight shaking at those speeds and my first thought would be either an improper balance or need for alignment. Most likely an alignment is the solution.

For predictable speed-sensitive vibrations, perhaps it would be wise to first eliminate bent rim(s) as a cause, then get road-force balancing on a Hunter machine. In general, I think bad alignment would show up in poor tire wear; that said, it is a straightforward thing to check.
